Offset take our corporate responsibilities seriously in minimising our negative impacts on people and the environment and to maximise our contribution to sustainable societies.
We recognise and fully support customers with commitments to improving social and environmental change and are continually looking to new measures by which to be a example to others in our way of working.
We have responded to these requirements by implementing practices and accountability by working towards and achieving the following key professional accreditations:
In 1998, responding to industry needs, the British Retail Consortium (BRC) developed and introduced the BRC Food Technical Standard. This was to be used to evaluate manufacturers of retailers own brand food products. It is designed to be used as a pillar to help retailers and brand owners with their 'due diligence' defence, should they be subject to a prosecution by the enforcement authorities. Under EU food Law, retailers and brand owners have a legal responsibility for their brands.
In a short space of time, this Standard became invaluable to other organisations across the sector. It was and still is regarded as the benchmark for best practice in the food industry. This and its use outside the UK has seen it evolve into a Global Standard used not just to assess retailer suppliers, but as a framework upon which many companies have based their supplier assessment programmes and manufacture of some branded products.
The majority of UK, and many European and Global retailers, and brand owners will only consider business with suppliers who have gained certification to the appropriate BRC Global Standard.

Sony sees global environmental conservation as one of the most critical issues for mankind in the 21st century. Sony, as a good corporate citizen, has established the Sony Environmental Vision to form the basis for aggressive actions to conserve the environment and create a sustainable society.
Sony closely monitors and manages chemical substances used in its products at all stages of the manufacturing cycle, from the raw material and component stages right through to final shipment. Naturally, the cooperation of suppliers is essential in promoting activities in this area.
Sony designates suppliers that cooperate in the production of environmentally sensitive products as Green Partners. Sony established the Sony Green Partner Standards in July 2001 with the aim of encouraging suppliers to introduce Green Partner environmental management systems. In March 2002, Sony established a set of "Management regulations for environment-related substances to be controlled which are included in parts and materials". Environment-related substances to be immediately banned or reduced were identified, as well as their applications. The regulations were enforced the following July. Together with this action, items required of suppliers under the Sony Green Partner Standards were further clarified by introducing the "Green Partner Environmental Quality Approval Program."
Offset holds a Certificate of Green Partner. Certificate No: 70489.
